You're Never too Old to Laugh

You're Never too Old to Laugh
This is a very funny collection that includes some great quotes, wonderful ideas, and outstanding cartoons. You are able to appreciate the humor of the quotes better than you would if the book were made up entirely of quotes because the collection contains a mixture of different kinds of humor. That gives your mind a break from reading quote after quote, which can be mind-numbing. And I'm sure I will laugh even louder when I get older, and can relate to more of these situations via first-hand experience. ;)

Ed Fischer's cartoons and drawings are funny. One contains a senior bus tour group stopped at a rest area, and the caption reads, "Guess we should stop more often." My favorite quotes are by Anonymous. (One is, "Old people shouldn't eat health food. They need all the preservatives they can get." The other is about the hijacking of a truckload of Viagra. I don't want to spoil the joke, so you'll have to read it for yourself!) There is also a hilarious joke provided by Elaine in Ely, Minnesota (near the Boundary Waters Canoe Area!) about some senior citizens, Heaven and Hell.

Great collection!
